I’m Cedric Alford—a designer focused on performance footwear and product innovation. I’ve worked across New Balance and with global teams through Gravity Sketch, blending practical function, expressive storytelling, and emerging tech in everything I create. My process combines 2D and 3D concept development, deep consumer insight, and a genuine passion for sport. The result: products that are visually striking, grounded in athlete needs, and engineered for real-world performance.

I believe great design lives where innovation, emotion, and performance overlap. My work aims to solve real athlete problems while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with digital tools and modern manufacturing. Every project starts with listening—to athletes, brands, and context—and then translating those insights into products that feel intuitive, purposeful, and future-ready. For me, the goal isn’t just to make something new, but to create solutions that people can feel in every stride, cut, and step.
